I went into this show without even looking at the synopsis and I'm glad I did because it left me pleasantly surprised and entertained. It's got a pretty standard sci-fi, paranormal vibe with movie tropes you can easily identify with and I enjoyed that the show didn't try to be more than it was; a goofy, entertaining watch with a dash of cringe. There are themes that are kind of in your face but not so glaring that you get the feel you're being spoon fed the point. The characters have some depth to them that although they aren't very rounded you can emphasize with theirsituations and understand their behavior. The plot is simple enough and the dark moments are meaningful when they do appear. It won't necessarily leave you at the edge of your seat but I was intrigued enough to keep watching just to understand what every piece of info was leading up to.

Overall it's a decent show and I'd recommend to anyone looking for something to just pass the time if they're waiting for some other show to come out.
