Ryota Killed His Brother · review
And here's a rare not recommended review from me. Typically I don't make it to the end of something that I'm going to rate four stars and not recommend people to read or watch, but this was rare because I became invested in the characters and the author enough that I wanted to see how things ended. I think that the concept was good. The characters were inviting. The plot, however, went off the rails pretty quickly and ti became obvious that his was the mangaka's first serialization. I found myself saying "WTF?" every week not in a bad way but also not in agood way. either. Some things went by too quickly and otehr things went by too slowly. There was a kind of randomness feeling throughout the reading experience.
I think there's a lot of promise though if the mangaka can learn and grow from this series.
If you want to read something a little half baked but tries it's best then go for it, but I would advise your time might be better spent reading other things.
