The story is fairly predictable, and if you've read the bio of this manga, you already know what to expect. The uke looks for a job as a gardener in the Lord's palace, but is surprisingly asked by a maid to serve the Lord and the guests he's entertaining, because she has more important chores to attend to. And of course the best solution is to not find a peer or a colleague, but a new face you don't even know could be an assassin in disguise, and send him off (with no directions) to the parlour, which the uke miraculously finds. All of thisis in the first half of chapter 1 of the manga, so this isn't a spoiler.

Also, it's annoying to see the uke being so pushy and disrespectful of the seme's boundaries, even though he has good intentions. He's a typical nice guy who doesn't take no for an answer because he thinks he knows better. I found that to be an annoying trait. The art is surprisingly pretty, especially the shadow work the mangaka does on the seme's hair. My only gripe with this is how stereotypically the uke and seme are drawn, as well as how they're written.
