Review of Blood Blockade Battlefront

Well, well, well... This is the first review I´ve written regardless of the amount of anime I´ve watched and should as well review, so let us begin. I´m going, to begin with, the part of the review, as from personal experience I can say that not all of us love reading the whole review, but sometimes wish for a summary that can in a few words answer our questions "is this anime for me?" "will I enjoy it?" So, overall if I had to describe this anime with one word it would be refreshing. Not only does it have typical motifs with people tend toenjoy such as magic, dystopic society, food, family, and friendship, but it exploits them in a way that makes you feel like you´re actually watching something new. It´s action-packed, a bit overwhelming, fast paced and it has its fair share of comedy. The animation is top-tier and the music works well with the style.

This is an anime that caught me on the first episode. Nonetheless, it may be perceived as a little overwhelming and chaotic at the beginning, as there is a lot of action and it´s quite fast paced. Although for a lot of people this might be a turnoff, it was one of the aspects I really enjoyed.

In regards to the story, the anime might be lacking a little bit, however, it makes up for it with other aspects.

The art style, I find exceptional. Not only is the animation really clean and flows really well, but I have to say that it´s one of the best environments I´ve seen. The environment is really refreshing, eye-catching and entertaining.

The soundtrack choices although sometimes a little odd work really well with the animation.

As for the characters, they are well interwoven with one another. But what I like most if the characters reactions, they brought a smile to my face quite a couple of times.

Overall the personal enjoyment I got out of this anime was a solid 9.
