Review of The Fruit of Grisaia

This is probably one of the better examples of a VN adaptation going right for both the fans of the VN as well as the watchers. This show is just plain odd as fuck, however it really has a layer of charm to the absurdity. I really have to avoid spoilers or even allusions because going in blind was definitely the best way to watch it. What you need to know is that this show is a triller anime that somehow follows all the harem anime tropes. You will consistently have some pulse pounding and compelling action on screen that's cut by its harem theme.The main character is compelling, everyone's backstory is mysterious, and the show does a good job of answering most of your questions.

Overall, it's a series worth a watch if you enjoy harem shows, yet also one where you can get a kick out of the absurd story as well.
