Review of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.
This is surprisingly good. Story 6/10 Art 6/10 Sound 6/10 Character... 6/10 Enjoymenbt 7/10 Overall 7/10This anime is a comedy, and it is composed of many short episodes. The appeal here is that episodes are short, fast, move at breackneck pace, so it doesn't really ever waste time on anything, and just keep throwing jokes and ridiculous situations.
The visuals are clean, but not terribly detailed, for the anime they do the job. First half of the episodes used incredibly mediocre tune, but it has been fixed in second half. Voice actors are quite good.
Characters begin as sterotypes, but they're incredibly well done stereotypes and frequently look quite real. Meaning you'll feel sorry for them in some awkward situation. Also there's a lot of characters.
All things considered the anime is quite fun.
The pacing is quick, it doesn't waste any time, art style is clean (even though it is not masterpiece leve), and characters are enjoyable enough. There is a lot of parodying going on through the series, and episodes have varying qualities, but in the end it is a very enjoyable ride.
If you have the time, check it out. I think it is worth it.
