Review of Devilman: Crybaby

I liked it, even if some choices (especially in the final part) did not convince me. "Rejuvenating" operation has succeeded fully; setting the series in our days (or so) was a good idea and they did it well. The only negative note to me is the duration, in my opinion they should have made it last longer. I know that the starting manga is not that long, but during the vision it seemed to me that the events followed one another way too quickly and as a consequence the characters did not have time to develop properly. Animation and drawings are top notch , the musicpushes for good and it is "sick" at the right point.

Maybe I do suggest to read the original manga first as it is more "complete"
