Review of Tsukigakirei
Dude I love romantic animes, but damnit if I do not want to hate them. This one was really good. It was better than Horimiya S1 in my opinion. This show is a very cute romance anime. Its about this boy and girl, who are in middle school by the way, and they fall in love. Now I know anime ain't realistic, but damn this ain't realistic. There really isn't much to say. They both fall in love, and are in a relationship for 10 episodes. They get into struggles but that is what every relationship goes through (I would not know). It is likewatching paint dry though, it is slow. The show definitely has its moments and for such a slow light-hearted anime it had me on my knees at some points due to the tension the characters gave each other.
The plot was also eh, like goddamnit you did 13 episodes for like 3 months worth of time, but you spend 5 minutes to portray 20 years of time at the end. Like bro at least spend an episode or something. The ending was satisfying, yes, but at the same time I was not satisfied. Ending could be better for sure.
Music: OP was good. The animation reminded me of YLIA OP.
Animation is actually really really nice. I am watching Horimiya piece which is like lazily animated but this anime has beautiful beautiful scenery animated. The amusement park episode had the animators flexing on us mortals for the first minute. Animation for a 6 year old anime is quite good.
Final Consensus: Watch it if you want a really wholesome romance anime, but at the same time be patient and don't drop it. If you are not patient do not watch it at all.
Score: 7/10
Thanks!
