Review of Devilman: Crybaby

Ok... When I first watched Devilman I didn’t know what to expect but after watching it, I was pleased. The show displays philosophy and metaphors constantly which beautifully presents the characters. One second you could be engaged in the intense fight, the next you could be crying. This show doesn’t disappoint entirely but... The show loses its feel once it’s forces rape scenes and constant nudity onto you out of nowhere, I get that it’s trying to push a message but they could’ve easily used so many better ideas to express it. The sexual scenes devalue the characters in my opinion, if you want touse it, use it for a reason like to push the story. Another thing I didn’t like was how no one questioned the obvious... It was such a ‘wow’ moment but overall it was a good watch that I’d highly recommend adding to your watch list.
