This is almost certainly not what anyone expected (or asked) to run across in their anime travels, but it may be precisely what you are looking for. Expressive animation, sharp writing, and great voice acting make this well worth its (extremely short) run-time. You even get little anecdotes from the creators' lives during the end credits.
