One suggestion for a more welcoming ending is while keeping the alone fact in mind the characters are found in school. At school the dominatrix looks through the door's window. Catches the attention of her sub with her stern glare and proceeds to have a private exchange moment. Here it could go for comedy spin or maybe a romantic spin. For endings are good when they are kind but to have some unexpected element is a bonus.
