This is not really a soccer/football anime, it is more of a comedy anime. The character does not like to get dirty.Do not take this anime seriously. If you liked sakamoto desu ga, you (should) will enjoy this anime. There is a lot of joking about the character for why he is in the club. There are people who say the character didn't care about his teammates, but he does.(up to you) The supporting characters are actually good, more when they are with the main character.
