I'm not a huge fan of the fate/destiny plotline and often prefer when it gets disrupted by an amazing character development. Unfortunately, there are multiple fated promises, and the MC frustratingly doesn't remember the details of any of them. The characters feel a bit contrived to the point where it seems they're set up to be each other's opposites. And our MC can't seem to get over the fact that he made a few promises as a kid and needs to move on to the real world. Lastly, after all 20 episodes, there doesn't seem to be a solid resolution or any significant progress with uncovering themain storyline plot. In fact, the mystery is swept aside and comes back from time to time.
