Review of Nisekoi: False Love
Nisekoi was an absolute joy to watch from start to finish, completely overflowing with personality, charm and great humour with endearing personal scenes woven in perfectly too. I love how everything studio shaft makes is always so distinguishable and I really think this show was brought to life by their incredibly unique direction and visual quirks. Every character felt so exaggerated yet so real at the same time, they're the kind of characters you can totally envision in different situations because of how well fleshed out their personalities are and it's always a joy watching them interact, especially Raku and Chitoge who I seriously cannotget enough of.
Speaking more about these characters, I really think each one of them is strong enough to make any scene entertaining. Often in shows like this I'm rooting for one girl way more than any of the others and I'm often annoyed when said girl gets less screentime, but with Nisekoi I was elated no matter which character was getting the most focus at that point - and it's pretty well distributed anyway. I definitely prefer Chitoge over the others by a decent margin but without the others I'd definitely feel sad.
Overall I adore this show, one of the best rom coms out there for sure (in both the rom and the com)! Easy recommend and I can't wait to watch season 2
