Review of Ping Pong the Animation

Honestly I didn't think I would like it as much as I did, but a friend of mine really likes this anime (says it's his favourite), so for his birthday I said I'd watch it lol. No regrets. The story really had me invested all the way through, and it made me care for each character individually, especially Smile and Kong (the Chinese was great and not cringy which is a plus), they were my favourite. The animation and visual was interesting, never seen anything like it before but I feel like it added to the story. I really liked the stuff about hardworking vs talent andthe crude reality of only having hardworking sometimes isn't enough and you need both to really be at the top.

I am disappointed at who won the match in the final game, I wanted it to be the other player (if you've watched it you know who I mean) But I love how it wrapped everything up in the end.
