Review of A Place Further Than The Universe

This show really snuck up on me in the beginning of this year, as it did to a lot of people. At first I was unsure of it, I had thought it was a 'Cute girls do Antarctica' show, but, never before have I been so glad to be wrong. A Place Further Than the Universe is a truly inspiring show, even now as the year is wrapping up, I can say that this show still stands unchallenged as my Anime of the Year, and as my favorite anime of all time. The characters bounce off of one another well, the direction is top notch, theart style works beautifully in mellow calm settings and in some of the more fast-paced scenes as well.
The OST is well used, and timed perfectly to the animation scenes, it's more than just an add-on.
And the story is just as amazing the first time as it is the second or third time watching.
