So unlike most people who reviewed this, I have not watched the original detective Conan. I picked this anime up cause of a 5 second clip I saw on Netflix and decided to give it a try. I have to say that it's one of the best comedy animes I've watched in a while. The episodes are short ( around 10 minutes) and the simple animation style perfectly matches the hilarious tone of the show. It doesn't take itself seriously and you don't need to be aquatinted with the detective Conan series to enjoy it. If you're looking for a genuinely hilarious anime (not "comedy"animes who's entire bit is just screaming dramatically whenever something happens) with a solid English dub that you can casually binge in less than 2 hours then this is definitely the one for you. And if you're a detective conan fan then you'll definitely enjoy it as well as other fans have said it's a great parody. Have fun with all the inside jokes😁.
