Review of Suzume

Suzume no tojimari or SUZUME for the English version is an anime based on the unique phenomenon of earthquakes. If you have seen Makoto Shinkai's films, you will know that his movies revolve around a kind of supernatural phenomenon in "your name "We get to see the time phenomenon, and in "Tenki no Ko" we get to see the Weather phenomenon similarly in "Suzume" we get to see the Land Phenomenon. all the Phenomenon are described as disasters like in" your name" we get to see how time changes a person and time changes even after a disaster like a meteor impact. in "Tenkinoko" we getto see the endless rain that will submerge the world. similarly, in Suzume, we get to see the disaster brought by Earthquakes.

now let's get to business

SOUND- It's done by RADWIMPS so it is bound to be phenomenal and unlike the other movies in this movie there are no songs in between the movie itself. but the OST is better than both Your Name and Tenki No Ko. (P.S. By ost I mean the sound without lyrics so don't argue.)
so it gets an 8/10 from me. the sound implications were also awesome.

ANIMATION- 10/10 ( does anyone need an explanation? No right? good.

STORY- Now this is the part people will start comparing with the other two movies. this movie started abruptly and ends abruptly. YES, it does. because the story that Makoto Shinkai wanted to convey was rather big and it was impossible to compact it into a movie. I mean if makoto shinkai made Suzume into a 12 ep tv anime then it would be better.
but the direction was done phenomenally so it didn't feel like it was rushed.
but I will say that the story was more complicated than the rest two movies but it was not anything less than both of the previous movies.
I will give it 8/10

Action- Yes, makoto shinkai's movie with awesome action 10/10

enjoyment - 9/10
