Review of A Whisker Away

This was a nice and relaxing movie! The story was more creative than you're typical romance anime, you can tell it was thought out as well. The environments and characters looked pretty average, they were nice though! (same applies to sound) The characters. Oh, the characters. I adored Sasaki Miyo's personality to bits. She was vibrant and overall gave the movie as a whole another layer of enjoyment. Every interaction she had was interesting, and it was quite intriguing to watch the dynamics she had with the rest of the cast. They pulled her off perfectly, she shines above all the other character's personalities by far, even thoughthey are all good as well.

I watched this with my family and I'd say it was family-friendly, there wasn't fanservice either so you can watch it with younger audiences. Especially since there are cats.

I liked this overall, I couldn't find any good anime movies until I stumbled on this one and I don't regret it at all. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a romance anime that isn't your everyday shoujo, but still with fluffy moments. As well as a movie to watch with your family.
