Review of A Couple of Cuckoos

I actually enjoyed A Couple of Cuckoos, not because it’s good, but just because it’s kind of fun sometimes. Most of the jokes aren’t even that funny, but my bar for comedy is so low that I found myself smiling anyway. Like, I genuinely laugh at repetitive and unfunny stuff, so it’s not hard to see why this anime worked for me on some level. The animation’s alright, not amazing, but not bad either. And the OST is Totally forgettable. That said, the writing is honestly terrible. The characters are super poorly written. Not a single one is actually likable and none of them have any realdepth. They keep making dumb decisions that don’t even make sense half the time.
