Review of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc
Demon Slayer is my favorite anime. since I watched it from the first season, I really like it. the simple story, the funny and serious characters, and the really amazing animation, made me love this series. I have also read the manga to the end. for the story I admit the story is very simple, where there is an organization that contains demons accompanied by their leader, then there are demon hunters, they fight, then recovery, fight back, and so on. but because of the simple storyline that's what makes me love this anime. Usually the action genre anime will have a fairly heavy story, sosome make me bored and sleepy while watching it. other than that, this anime also provides some funny scenes, especially in season two. Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Tanjiro's behavior invites laughter in season two. so as viewers we don't just watch it seriously. plus the animation is so stunning and pleasing to the eye, the audience will feel at home seeing it. we all know Ufotable studio has fantastic animation of his work. and they managed to create an amazingly amazing work when adapting the Demon Slayer anime, where the drawing from the manga in my opinion is not very good, but made very good by Ufotable. amazing, for animation I was amazed, exceeding expectations, especially lately they have been working on a lot of anime projects (fate heavens feel III, mugen train movie & series). their animation has not even decreased in quality at all, even improved, even though their work schedule is fairly fast. Ufotable is the best studio in my opinion.
Basically I really like this season 2. the fight against Daki and Gyuutarou, very epic, especially in episode 10, I was stunned when I watched it. the story is simple and doesn't make you think too much, it's very relaxing to watch, plus the animation is eye-catching. especially lately I'm tired of watching action anime, because most of their stories are almost the same, and of course the stories are a bit heavy. What I salute Ufotable is that they dare to be different about animation. in this second season, many frames that show fast fighting scenes in fractions of a second. Ufotable tries to add a slowmotion effect in every frame of the fight scene. so that the audience can know what the char is doing when fighting and we understand and can see them fighting 'clearly'. besides that the slow motion is also very smooth, I like it. even in my opinion, episode 10 is the best episode of all Demon Slayer episodes so far, beating episode 19 in its first season.
This Demon Slayer is perfect for me who is tired of watching action anime with heavy and boring stories.
I'm really looking forward to the continuation of the third season.
