Review of Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!

Out of all the anime that was on going this season, I did not expect this one to be my favorite, but it ended up being the one I enjoyed the most. Which was a pleasant surprise, especially because it doesn't feel like it was going to have a lot going on. Outcasts Restaurant follows a guy known as Denis who is a level 99 Chef, who was kicked from a famous adventurers guild. Instead of being mad, or out for revenge. Dennis takes this opportunity to pursue his dream of owning his own restaurant. Along the way he meets a girl being sold awayknown as Atelier and buys her to help with the restaurant. Along the way he meets new people, helps them with their problems and gets a loyal customer base.

I wasn't sure how much they were going to do with this one. At first I thought it was just going to be a show about cooking or something along those lines as we already have anime that are similar to that concept. However, I feel like the way they did this anime was really well done and it was a lot more interesting than expected. For example: Dennis's backstory was an interesting one, Vivias story was more sad than I expected, Ateliers story was completely unexpected (really trying to avoid spoilers here hence why I'm being so vague).

Each episode had me smiling a lot by the end of it and I really enjoyed this one. I really want this to get a season 2 but I doubt it will. I very rarely rate any anime a 10, and for this one it was originally a 9 but with how much I enjoyed it, I had to give it a 10.
