Review of Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadow

If you thought things couldn't get worse — they can. Season 2 somehow manages to make everything that was already bad in Season 1 even worse. There's no logic, no consistency, no emotional weight. The fights that happen mid-season are oddly better than the supposed main drama, which just shows how off-balance the storytelling is. It was almost cute how the edgy protagonist pulled powers out of nowhere to solve the big conflict. Why even bother having S-rank heroes if the ex-lowest-rank protagonist can handle everything solo with no effort? There's really no way to defend this. While I was at least able to say "youcan watch it if you expect nothing" in Season 1, this second season felt like a punch in the stomach.

The only reason I’m not giving it a lower score is because the soundtrack is solid and the animation remains consistent. But aside from that... there's just nothing redeeming.
