Like most slice of life anime these days, the plot is very episodic to the point where even the episodes are split between an A plot in the first half, and a B plot after the eyecatcher. On the other hand, because of its slower pace, the animators have room to breathe and craft some beautiful characters. Not a single animation error or sign of laziness in sight. The show does have its fair share of running gags, however, and those can get annoying fast. While it doesn't do much to stand out, it was a nice, pleasant experience that dives into the world of mangacreation. Some will enjoy its slower pace, while others may be annoyed by the lack of stakes and running gags. If you've ever been curious about the life of a mangaka and the wonderful friends she can make along the way, be sure to check it out.
