Although this season wasn't as good as the first one, I still really enjoyed it. The difference in the pace of development between humans and kaiju was a bit frustrating; I think Kafka should have developed a bit faster. The battle scenes and the other captains' abilities were impressive, but the kaiju being so powerful left a bit of a sour taste, especially since Kaiju No. 9 seemed practically invincible. The fact that no information was given about the small kaiju that entered Kafka or about Kaiju No. 9 itself also left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. Other than that, I'm eagerly awaiting the anime's new season.
