Review of Sword Art Online

*Slight Spoilers* Sword Art Online is a typical isekai but is slightly different from the rest of them. I find it really interesting that they incorporated their real lives into the anime. It was a very stereotypical plot where the main protagonist has broken abilities and stats, but that's what most people that are not very invested into different types of anime like. I do wish that they would have diversified their character selection because they all seemed to have the same kind of thing in common. They were all sort of ditsy and all loved Kirito. They got minimum background info except for themain protagonists, but at least Kirito's past was interesting to hear about. I did however really enjoy this anime regardless of all it's flaws. It made me want to watch more and more and kept entertained throughout most of the seasons that it has had.

All of that aside, what really stood out to me was their soundtracks. After hearing their opening songs over their seasons, LiSA has become one of my favorite artists to listen to. The ending songs also were very enjoyable for me to listen to.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is starting out anime to use as a benchmark. It's a great action anime with plenty of drama and all kind's of genre's inside of this amazing anime. Though it may have flaws I love it non the less!
