In Kirepapa, the artwork was pretty good, nothing spectacular, but a far cry better than some of the animation I've seen out there. The storyline is a little overplayed, what with the over-protective father and his precious child, but the way the characters are introduced and pulled together makes it all worth while. I enjoyed the comedic aspects of this series (and there are a few), as well as the puns that were worked into the dialogue. Overall, a decent pair of OVAs that made me wish there were enough episodes to call this an actual series.
