Review of Katanagatari
katangatari can be summed as anti-climatic and pointless. it has a unique story and setting which is enjoyable but thats it, all the actions taken by the characters seem pointless and the end anti-climatic with nothing of significance happening leaving a felling of whats the point in your mind. but i'll give credit where it is due, the character development is good and the art style pretty unique but thats is, nothing else stands out as such, the only thing done well by the series is the action of which there is only 5 mins or less(mostly less) in each of 50min episodes except for thefinal one and by the time you reach there its just like whatever and u dont care anymore.
you may enjoy this if you wanna watch an adventure tale with an old-esque feeling but the enjoyment you get for watching a series that has 12 episodes of 50min length each, its quite disappointing.
the only other good thing is nanami who stood out the most to me and made quite an impression.
i dont know why this shit has such an high score on MAL so in conclusion i would suggest that just watch the action sequences and nanamis parts on youtube or something and skip this one.
