Review of Shiki

Shiki had a good premise and vampires and supernatural stuff in an isolated local village. The start was haunting and it was a slow paced story building anime which makes us question about death. The BGM was spooky and the characters were good, except the animation which I didn't seem to like it. Nonetheless, the story of vampire eating humans for survival and humans killing them for survival, fits an ironic statement of what we call as death. Keeping it short, Shiki had all the materials to create a mystery/horror anime which it did very well, except for the animation. Although the ending felt a bit rushed(2-3 episodes more would have been better), it was interesting and intense till the end (especially the killings in the last 2 episodes).

• Animation didn't felt up to the mark
