Here is a quickie review if you want to find out if this is anime is Outstanding or Unwatchable. War in the pocket is a great classic. The story follows a young boy who meets a crashed Zaku (Mech). The pilot seems to be alive and the young boy wants to help him. While with him, He is with another friend who is a pilot from the opposite. Straight forward and not confusing but simple can be the best. Its art, sound, character are purely outstanding and very good considering for the age. It has a bitter sweet ending but I will not continue because itis sad but leaves with a smile

Overall, Great story and is Under-rated classic!
