Review of Monster

Monster is one of those pieces of fiction which you only experience once in a lifetime. The level of writing done is a height writers can only dream of reaching. There are many characters, each with so much depth. Characters that you hate at the beginning but grow to love as the story progresses. Everything is perfect. The art style is not generic. It takes anime and uses it to convey one of the best stories ever developed. It shows that anime is not only a medium for weird otakus or degenerates who want to see 13-year-olds with massive boobs. It is much more thanthat. It is only a pity that it is not this type of anime which is popularised. The soundtrack is phenomenal. It suits the anime perfectly. I especially love the ending songs, they are really thought-provoking and deep in meaning. At this point the lyrics are stuck in my head. For an anime that appears to be lengthy to some, you will find that it actually goes by very fast. Monster IS and will FOREVER be one of the greatest anime out there. I am not exaggerating when I say this is one of the best pieces of fiction you will ever consume! Do yourself a favour and watch Monster.

Monster is a show that makes you appreciate living. It can really change your perspective on life. Truly a masterpiece by Urasawa. I can go on and on about Monster, but "how much can a person really convey during their lifetime?"
