Review of Shiki

The first few episodes had me ready to drop the series. But the art style, the atmosphere, and the well designed and diverse characters kept me coming back. By the fifth episode I was hooked. The story takes you through a whirl wind of emotions, you go from hating one side to loving the other and it goes back and forth.This anime is one of the few that has brought me near tears. When you see the ending you will be begging for more, I personally went and looked to see if the story continued on in manga form. If you like vampires who don'tsparkly boy-band vampires who have deep teen angst and feel they are complex simply because they put jell in their hair. Than give this show a shot.
