Review of Fairy Tail

Okay, first thing I want to say is that I first watched this when I was 12-13 (4 or so years ago) and when I watched it, I loved it. It was my favorite anime oat for years. I even re-watched it several times. I loved the plot armor, fan service, and power of friendship. That being said, I recently tried to re watch it because it had been awhile. However, it seems that I have sadly matured past this type of show. I found it boring, repetitive, and the story felt kinda non existent in a way. I hated the power of friendship, theplot armor was annoying asf and made no sense either. Fan service can get annoying, but not a big deal to me.
I still think it's a good show, just not a show that will be entertaining or considered good to everyone or even most people.
It seems like a show that will be most entertaining to a younger audience or woman.

I have heard that 100 year quest is amazing and far surpasses what the rest of show showed us, but I've yet to read/watch it. I will eventually though.

I don't think there's much else to say. The show is decent, but not meant for everyone. I still think it's worth a try to watch it, you never know, you may end up really enjoying it.
