While the pace of the story is somewhat slow (classic villain of the day type of anime), ultimately the story itself isn't too bad. The humor can be a bit dry sometimes. What is impressive is how strong willed the sailor scouts can be without a man. Go ahead and try it if your into girl power, if your not there still might something else. I encourage starters to try to bear with it at least until sailor mars is introduced. If your still not buying it by that point, then maybe this anime isn't for you.
