Now, Texhnolyze is one of the few hidden gems out there that are unique and offer you a different perspective of the anime genre. I started Texhnolyze with no high hopes and expected it to be some kind of gory stuff without any story, but as I kept watching it, the more my intriguition increased. It's heavily philosophical with its themes build around Nihilism. And you have to pay attention to detail in order to fully understand it. It takes about 12 episodes to build the characters, and the base of the story, and then after that; it's all craziness. The Characters are exceptional. Theirdesigns are unique and all of them are written beautifully. They have proper motivations and almost each one of them got enough screen time to establish their personality. The Main Character, Onishi and Yoshi were my favorites. Now about animation quality, it's consistent which is basically normal for Madhouse, so yeah, zero complains about that. The Soundtrack was really good. It was so atmospheric that I found myself immersed in the streets of the Lukuss. It feels new yet nostalgic. I've heard very few soundtracks that are able to do that, so it's a +10 here as well, and how can I forget about the masterpiece of direction. Every scene is played just as how it should, the voice actors completely suit their respective characters, plus, the voice acting was really good, and the soundtracks were placed perfectly. And the ending, it's one of the best, to be accurate, the best ending I've ever seen. That's all folks, that's the best I could do in a spoiler free review.
