Review of Koi Kaze

After I have finished watching the anime Koi Kaze, now it is time for my overall review of the show There will be some spoilers related to this show ahead so you have been warned This showed aired from April 2004 to June 2004 (Part of the spring 2004 animes) The genres that this shows falls into include drama, psychological, romance and seinen What I liked about the anime - 1 - I have seen my fair share of incest anime in the past and the problem that I have always had with them is that they always went overboard on the ecchi element, one thing that I likedabout this is that it went onto a different approach on focusing on the issue of incest by showing it in a more emotional and psychological way and reminding them what the consequences can include. Also, with the fact that Koshiro knew that it was wrong and was trying to hide his feelings because incest is a social taboo

2 - I liked the fact that with the siblings falling in love with each other, they went with more of the slow burn route with it and also showed them(especially Koshiro) trying their hardest to hide their feelings because they knew that they would not receive a good reception from their family and their peers because they are siblings.

3 - I loved mostly all of the characters in this show, but I will say that the only character in the show that I didn't like was Kei Odagiri (mainly because he seemed like a complete pervert)

4 - Even though a lot of recent animes has better art styles and animations (mainly because this show came out 11 years ago), the style of art and the animation for Koi Kaze is still amazing for the time when the show was released.

What I disliked about the show -

1 - there wasn't really that much that I disliked about the show but if I had to say one thing, it would be the character of Kei Odagiri, I couldn't stand him because like I said on my 3rd point on what I liked, he seemed like such a pervert and had a fixation for young girls as well that made him even more worse.

My favourite character in the show was Nanoka Kohinata

My overall rating for this show is 10/10, I will say that this is a brilliant anime and is one of my personal favourites.
