Depending on what you want from the series it will yield different results for you. After watching the first season and you enjoyed the comedy and wanted to see more, watch this. If you wanted to see more of the mecha and story then I recommend moving to the second raid where they actually continue the story. Of course you can watch fumoffu by itself but watching the first season will give you a feel for the type of comedy that they use for fumoffu. Be warned this is only fillers, no actual plot is present. What makes up forit is the comedy and overall fun stories that it follows.
