The ending of the 1999 HxH was bittersweet. It left us hanging and we had alot of questions that were unanswered for. So this 8 episode ova series gave us a satisfiable conclusion to one of the best and my favorite arc in the HxH series. Very good story with great pacing and atmosphere, from the beginning till the end it was intense and entertaining. The animation is pretty much the same from the series. The music was great and the sound choices were well though of. Very good characterization for both the Spiders and Kurapica, they add some details to the characters that make themeven more likable and interesting then where they were.

Overall a very enjoyable ova that is definitely a recomended watch once you have finished the HxH series.
