Review of Redo of Healer

This is a bad hentai parody of an isekai genre. That's it. Just watch Rance for a better experience. For my review, I can say that this won't end on a positive note. So prepare yourself if you wanna watch this dumpster fire yourself. Mild spoilers ahead. The story is bad. Like, pretty bad. Basically, the entire plot of this anime is summarized in the synopsis. You read that and you already know everything in this anime. But let me elaborate on how bad it is. For starters, the revenge aspect. The revenge itself is executed pretty badly. There wasn't any payoff to his revenge since there wasn't any build-upto it. They showed a flashback to his "hardship" which is just so poorly done that I never felt sympathy for him. Explaining why it's so bad is spoiling everything here, so I'll refrain from it.
There's also the fact that the pacing is super slow and dragged by the pointless sex scenes. Like, it's shoving the fact that it is Sex First, Plot Second. There's at least one sex scene in an episode and it takes half an episode for the sex scene to finish lol.
Look, if I want to watch a sex scene, then I'd watch hentai. The sex scenes here don't even look good.

The characters are awful. They aren't characters. They are plot devices that are made to have a reason to have sex. Oh, excuse me. I meant "revenge". There aren't any good characters here. Or at least decent in that sense. They are so forgettable. Characters are made to hate them, have their sex scene, or both.

The animation and music are both pretty decent. Animation is pretty subpar especially if it wasn't sex scenes. The fights here are pretty lackluster since they themselves know that the ones watching this aren't here for the fights, but for the retarded sex. The ost isn't worth mentioning, but the op and ed are pretty decent. They are catchy enough but they are the kinds of songs that I'd forgot within a day.

Overall, if you want a show where it is just borderline hentai, then I'd recommend Ishuzoku Reviewers instead. At least there, the sex scene is the plot. Here, it's just an edgy take on the story.
