What have I done to deserve this torture? The crux of the problem is how bad the writing of the characters is. The main character is a selfish narcissistic little brat who makes you want to cave his head in with a baseball bat. And the worst part is is that his behavior is barely challenged, instead it’s encouraged by original protagonist Valt. Not to mention his rival calls himself a “high king” which is just narcissistic and drunk on power. The Beyblade Burst series has struggled with the writing of its characters for all of its seasons, mainly because this writer has forgotten how towrite actual human beings that you don’t want to punch, but somehow, Beyblade Burst was a very painful experience.
