Review of Whisper Me a Love Song

This anime is so close to being an 8/10 or maybe even a 9/10 but it falls just short. The story is extremely compelling, the characters are deep and realistic, the music is great, the messages that the anime conveys are extremely heartfelt (I cried 3 times watching this) and the entire thing has a lot of soul put into it, you can feel how much they cared during the last episode and it is poignant. However, it suffers from pacing issues (particularly around the middle), the animation is not great and can be downright bad at certain times and the characters can be more densethan a rock so if that kind of thing pushes you off of an anime then you might not enjoy this one.

I still think you should give it a go if any of the following interest you:
-GL anime.
-Anime with good music. (Look up Meritocracy by Laureley, seriously that opening riff is stuck in my head)
-Romance anime with deep characters that are emotionally complex.
-Anime with a completely female cast.

And if you do end up giving it a go, try to push through to the end. Yori and Himari are ADORABLE and I'm praying for a season 2!!
