Review of Demon Lord 2099

While having a decently original take on the whole demon lord trope, its anime adaptation decided to waste most of its budgets on slow and pointless scenes to pad out the runtime instead of properly using its limited screen time. Every episode has about 5 to 10 minutes of well paced content while the rest is generally padding that makes you think "why did they have to take so long to show that?" and the answer will go unanswered by any answers other than budget related ones. It's a real shame they wasted such potential like this and because of it I do not expectthis series will ever get a season 2, destined to remain limited into the light novel format until its end. 5/10
