Review of Parasyte: The Maxim

Parasyte is a very good thriller/action anime EXTREMELY similar to Tokyo Ghoul. There are so many similarities that you will lose track of them. The beginning of the anime is explosive and fast paced but it slightly fizzles out in the end.The main reason is that most of the female characters are Sakura,i.e utterly useless and irrelevant to the storyline. The opening of the anime is really good and worth adding to your playlist. The animation is top class and consistent, as expected from MadHouse. Overall,it is recommended to watch it, just don't expect good romance or character development.Or for that matter, a second season.
