Review of Sword Art Online

in 2k19 i would never watch it again and find it great. This anime had so much to offer and when i watched it for the first time in 2012 it was absolutely worth it. The story took me so much that i felt just like a random character inside the game that was remembering the old memories, idk why but i felt like that. now a days, the Isekai genre has been abused like hell, there are dozens of animes with the same identic story. The Art and the Sound,they are amazing, here you could watch it now after 8 years and you would still like it. The Majorstwo problems are the characters and the way the story has been developed.

The Characters are flat, even if there's little lore that takes place before the events of Sao, it is not enough to explain why kirito is so good at everything, he's an hacker, a solo player basically invincible that solos the bosses (if you played any mmorpg you well know that it is impossible), Girls fall in love with him randomly etc. Here one thing people often talk about is that his relationship with Asuna came up with no sense, mh.. onestly this is one of the few things that stands on his own feet.
Kirito's relationship with Asuna is well explained and showned, that doesn't mean it is cool or anithing, just... it is explained and it makes sense.

The Villan.. here there is one thing to talk about. the Story was supposed to be serious and you understand this by some sentences that you hear during the anime and some even at the start of the second season, the reason i'm saying this it's cuz it was meant to have some philosophy in it. Thing that it exist and it doesn't in the sense that you must watch it more than one time to get everying, and still it is not so impressive as it was supposed to be.
Anyway the Villan was meant to be, a man who got tired of the real world cuz "the only difference betwen our world and the virtual is the ammount informations" and because "he always dreamed of a castle where he could create his own laws". This has some little and sloppy philosophy, that's why the villan is great and horrible at the same time. Personally i don't like him as a villan, i like him as a man.

Overall this show deserves an 8 if you are new to the anime world.
if you are already inside the world of anime there are some that are way better than this, and in that case the score would be around 5.
