Review of Aura: Koga Maryuin's Last War
As a fan of shows like Chunibyo, I was excited to dive into this movie, and while it didn't blow me away, it was a delightful, feel-good experience. The story follows Ichirou, a guy who tries to help Ryouko, a girl obsessed with the "Eighth Grade Syndrome", return to normal. I loved how Ichirou gradually befriended her, gaining her trust and helping her overcome her obsession. The animation is vibrant, the characters are lovable, and the voice acting is top-notch. I especially liked how Ichirou remained patient and kind to Ryouko, even when she was distant or strange. What kept me from giving it a higher score wasthe pacing. Some scenes felt a bit rushed, and I wished they'd delved deeper into the supporting characters. Still, Aura: Maryuuin Kouga Saigo no Tatakai is a sweet, entertaining ride perfect for fans of offbeat comedies.
If you're looking for something lighthearted and fun, give it a shot! Just don't expect it to be a game-changer.
P.S. I liked how Ichirou approached Ryouko with empathy and kindness. He's a true friend!
