Review of Space Dandy

I've been watching anime for as long as I can remember now, and every so often I find an anime so unique from anything else (in a good way) that it just becomes a memorable experience for me. This anime is just that, the amount of creativity and love expressed in each episode is meticulous here. Even with 70 key animators and dozens of story ideas for each episode, the coherence in the story and general "dandiness" of Dandy is comfortably enjoyable. It's not a serious anime with a single plot and goal, nor is it like a sitcom where each episode everything resets to0. There is
general progression though it is mostly irrelevant, its all about the here and now. Each episode you see a character being introduced, their hardships and interaction with dandy's cool-tempered wisdom/style and you are left with a good taste in your mouth, like the ending you always wanted after a long gut-wrenching story.

I think this anime vibes with people trying to chill out, so it's probably not for everyone. The story is also on the slow-and-steady reward side and not the instant dopamine side.
