This story is so special to me. The themes that it explores are so complex and very difficult to explain. It looks at love and friendship in a way that isn’t strictly romantic and examines connections between people. It looks at death and facing mortality. Knowing that life still goes on after you don’t. The sadness and comfort from being lonely, the work it takes to put on a happy facade. It is so good. That are sounds stupidly pretentious but I can’t describe it any other way. It just talks about everything that I find interesting. It’s so gorgeous.
