Honestly - Sweet manga! The reason I'm writing a review though is because the mangaka has said some very weird things about the topic they wrote about (SA) and some potential readers might want to skip out on this manga. This story features heavy themes of violent sexual assault. This is not a spoiler since the manga contains a content warning in regards to that and the topic is brought up in the very first chapter, and it is also not connected to the lead romance of the story. However, the author chose to portray the past assault, which is already weird in itself when youare writing a romance where such visuals are not in anay way going to further the romantic development. What's worse is that the mangaka mentions in their author's note at the end of the volume that they, and I quote, “got excited over drawing [character] getting violated“. As in, they heavily enjoyed drawing a rape scene of their romantic lead (while sporting “a huge grin on [their] face“, also a quote).

So! I was actually hesitant to give this work any attention on MAL, since that gives the mangaka attention, but warning readers who want to enjoy this story and would end up supporting this person is more important to me. My official MAL rating stands for the disgusting author of the manga, the story itself is honestly a 9/10. Read it illegally, if at all. Don't give this person money.
