Daisy Jealousy · review
I'm glad to have read this and I recommend it to those who struggle with jealousy toward their lovers/friends and feeling like a failure in their studies/job, especially if they work in a passion domain like art. I think this story portrays really well the hardships of feeling deeply jealous with a person you love, how even though you wish to see them succeed you can't stop feeling like you're a failure next to them and that maybe you would like them to fail for you to feel better. Obviously Misaki's behavior is toxic at first but this is why I loved this story. He understoodhis faults and came back better.
Overall I think the dynamics between the two characters was really interesting and well handled, one who is so deep in his self-hatred he can't see anything else and one who is too obsessed with the other to understand his behavior.
I loved reading this. It probably has something to do with the fact that I relate a lot with Misaki these days.
