Arrested Love · review
It's a generic manga that is very repetitive, even in comparison to most shows. This one repeats itself, more so in their dialogues within our two main characters. It starts off a bit cute, but you will not see much improvement, and feels like it goes on to the point of annoyance. - What the manga actually has going for is plot progression and character interactions. For the plot and story, it does actually advance and changes somewhat, definitely a drag at first but the wheel definitely moves. - The artstyle, while sometimes decent and coherent, is more than often a mess and lazy. It does get a bumpby making the characters at the very least distinct, and at times, badass. The fighting scenes, if you can call them that, are very stiff and often just blurred lines.
The background is very boring to look at, often because there isn't any. and if they are; is not the focal point of the story, since the panels are mostly focused on the characters and their interactions. Speaking about the characters, are often not proportionate to their own characters and often just change, i.e head sizes are different, arms getting shorter/longer/thicker, etc, and they use stick figures for most background characters, but some aren't. It just feels like rough illustrations made into a manga.

My personal worst parts of the manga that make the manga feel like it's dragging out and its unprofessionalism are the dialogues, panels, and their placements, especially with the 'camera' placements with their characters.
This whole thing I feel like is definitely not a generic style to it, but it's just that. A style. You can find a lot better manga with a similar premise.
Also, you will hear this quote: "I love her/him". A lot.
